How to schedule a visit and "Shadow a Student for a Day"
Prospective trumpet students are encouraged to visit the campus. Visits can be scheduled by contacting me at g.wing@moreheadstate.edu or through Enrollment Services. (Click on the button below) The "Shadow a Student for the Day" initiative gives the prospective trumpet student the opportunity to "shadow" one of the MSU trumpet students throughout a day as they attend their various classes. |
How to Apply to Morehead State University
Since music scholarship awards are contingent upon University admission, prospective students are strongly encouraged to complete their MSU admission application prior to February 1st. |
How to Schedule an Audition
All prospective trumpet students seeking admission to one of the degree programs in the Department of Music, Theatre & Dance and/or a music scholarship must audition before the brass faculty. Music Admission and Scholarship Audition dates for undergraduate, transfer and graduate students entering the Fall of 2020. Friday, February 12, 2021 10:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Baird Music Hall Friday, February 19, 2021 10:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Or any other day and time arranged by the student and applied brass faculty.
